All path and trench developments undertaken
J&M is a family run business with 30 years experience in digging trenches and constructing paths, we therefore can produce a high standard of work due to our vast amount of experience and equipment.
We have our own specialist equipment that allows us to survey the area where work is required and carry out the work to a high standard with customer satisfaction in mind.
All of our paths and trenches are built to a high standard with quality materials.
Trenching works
Our team of experts are trained in scanning the area that requires work to locate existing service cables and pipes that may be present.
With our own machinery we are able to saw the edges of the new trench with a diamond blade saw, which will allow the trench to be located where it is required.
Our trained machine drivers are capable of digging trenches wherever they are required to be dug whether it is in your garden or across an industrial estate or even close to high voltage cables.
If there is too many service cables in the area, we offer a hand-dig option which allows one of our team to excavate carefully with the right equipment so the trench will always be in the correct place.
Previously we have undertaken trenching projects of up to five miles in length.
Footpaths
Our team of experts have a wide knowledge of path works, whether you need to resurface existing paths, construct a new path or even a temporary safe walkway.
We are specialists in constructing new paths and walkways in the railway industry as well as working on many industrial and domestic projects from school paths, church walkways and railway platforms. Our team of experts will easily construct a pathway to your desired specifications.
We have specialist equipment in the form of power barrows, which is a large wheelbarrow-like device that is engine driven. They are designed to transport materials across rough terrain with ease and safety in mind. So even if the works are a long way from hard standing, our machinery is capable of completing the task.
We have worked on many large path projects in the railway industry, for example a 1m wide footpath that was 2000m long. We have done many similar projects in the last few years.

Concrete or timber edging if required
